Diversity and gender equality

According to audiovisual regulations, the media must guarantee an image of a diverse society and give voice to men and women, to people of different age groups, to people of any nationality, etc. They must also show the functional diversity and multiplicity of cultures and religious options, among other elements.

In addition, the representation of reality that the media reflects must be equal in regard to the presence of each segment of the population (according to age, gender, origin, etc.) and stereotyping should be avoided.
