CAC Awards for research in audiovisual communication
The CAC has called and resolved the 37th CAC Awards for audiovisual communication research which had two categories:
- Open topic award: research on any topic related to audiovisual communication services in the broadest sense of the term and regardless of the medium (radio, television, films, internet), technology and distribution platform used.
- Specific topic award: research on Artificial intelligence (AI) that investigates innovative and transformative aspects of AI use in the media field.
The prize money for each category was €3,500 gross.
Submissions were accepted until October 13, 2025. The awards were decided in December 2025 and the CAC ratified the jury's verdict through Agreement 129/2025. A public presentation was done on February 26, 2026 at the Col·legi de Periodistes de Catalunya.
