Pluralism and informative treatment

One of the fundamental missions of the Audiovisual Council of Catalonia (CAC) is to guarantee the observance of political, social, religious, linguistic, cultural and territorial pluralism, in accordance with letter b of article 115 of the Law 22/2005, of 29 December, on the audiovisual communication of Catalonia. With regard to the informative treatment, the CAC analyses whether the broadcast content complies with the regulations, in aspects such as veracity, neutrality, objectivity and the presence of offensive content.
