Regulatory provisions
The Catalan Audiovisual Council (CAC) has regulatory authority that allows it to approve regulations which, once published in the Official Gazette of the Government of Catalonia, are binding on operators. Specifically, in accordance with Article 10(f) of Law 2/2000 of May 4, of the Catalan Audiovisual Council, this body is empowered to adopt binding general instructions for operators to ensure compliance with current legislation within its area of competence.
